Rama Party

Rama parties provide a time and space for Asian Americans and their allies to connect and celebrate the incredible skills and talents of individuals in the Pan Asian American community. In true Asian fashion, we bond over food and drink, (typically making dumplings together), and then we carve out time for people to share their “passion projects” with their new and old friends. Passion project presentations can be anything from sharing a new business idea (or about an already established business), to singing us a song, performing a dance, playing a film you made, sharing a photo (or photos) you took, reciting a poem you wrote, telling us about a hobby you love (demonstrations, when possible, are always encouraged!), making us laugh w/ your comedy routine, providing samples of your culinary talent, teaching us about something you’re an expert in…the sky’s the limit! Whether you are making a living doing your passions, are enjoying them on the side, or have shelved them for the time being, we all have passions and talents, and Rama parties are where you can find your place to share and shine.
